There has been a lot of buzz (and polarizing opinions) about the upcoming film WORLD WAR Z. Based on the novel by Marx Brooks‘s World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War, directed by Marc Foster and starring Brad Pitt, this trailer has raised both praise from fans of the genre and its star actor, alongside harsh criticism about being “nothing like the book is based on”. It looks very big on scale, and given the fact that “zombies are the new vampires” with the success of shows like The Walking Dead (which I’m obsessed with), it seems like we are gonna get plenty of films starting the “undead” in the upcoming 2013.
Here’s the synopsis:
“A U.N. employee is racing against time and fate, as he travels the world trying to stop the outbreak of a deadly Zombie pandemic.”
What do you think of this trailer? Would George Romero approve?
