I’ve been waiting for this one! Disney just released a teaser trailer for BIG HERO 6, their latest animated feature to be released on November 7. When I visited the studios last year for Frozen, we had a chance to see some of the concept art for this film and it was not only stunning but incredibly fun and interesting. It takes place in “San Fransokyo” a futuristic city that blends (you guessed it) both San Francisco and Tokyo elements (even though is not shown in the trailer yet), and tells the story of Hiro Hamada, a robotic genius and Baymax, who form a team of first-time crime fighters. Take a look at the trailer plus the poster and some stills from the film.
“With all the heart and humor audiences expect from Walt Disney Animation Studios, “Big Hero 6” is an action-packed comedy-adventure about robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, who learns to harness his genius—thanks to his brilliant brother Tadashi and their like-minded friends: adrenaline junkie Go Go Tamago, neatnik Wasabi, chemistry whiz Honey Lemon and fanboy Fred. When a devastating turn of events catapults them into the midst of a dangerous plot unfolding in the streets of San Fransokyo, Hiro turns to his closest companion—a robot named Baymax—and transforms the group into a band of high-tech heroes determined to solve the mystery.”
