The minute you are introduced to Chris Cuffaro you feel like you’ve known him from a very long time. And you might not know him personally, but you have definitively seen his work. And this combination of charisma and confidence must be the secret weapon behind the man responsible for some of the most iconic images from music legends like Nirvana, Morrissey, George Michael and many others. Chris is able to capture something unique about every person in front of his lens.

I asked him about the constant element throughout his body of work, and he said “Simplicity”. But don’t be fooled by his term of choice, his work is far more complex and interesting than just “celebrity photos”. And Greatest Hits is the perfect way to celebrate 30 years of success in the career of one of the most charming, beloved and talented photographers in the business.

For those who missed the initial Los Angeles launch, you can see an abbreviated version of the show from Wednesday, February 8 through Saturday, February 18 at Mr. Musichead Gallery (7420 Sunset Blvd. L.A., CA 90046) in Hollywood.
