When I heard that Tom Hanks (one of my favorite actors) was going to be the first person to ever portray Walt Disney in a film (hard to believe right?) I got immediately curious and excited. SAVING MR. BANKS is inspired by true events, and tells the story of how the film Mary Poppins made it to the screen. Alongside Hanks are other favorites as well: Emma Thompson,  Paul Giamatti, Jason Schwartzman, and many others, in what looks like a very promising film. The film is directed by John Lee Hancock (The Blind Side) and written by Kelly Marcel and Sue Smith.
